  • Is My E-Ticket Enough to Get Into the Show?

    Yes - you can go straight to the venue with your E-Ticket on your phone or device.

    If you require a printed ticket, you may print your confirmation email at home or visit the venue box office during the season.

    For collections, please arrive no later than 30mins prior to your session start time. You will need valid ID for collection.

  • Where is the box office?

    The Spiegeltent box office is located near the entrance of the site at Johnstone Park, Geringhap St, Geelong

  • Are there any age restrictions to performances?

    Age suitability is listed with every performance at The Garden.

    G: Suitable for All Ages

    PG: Parental Guidance recommended for under 15 yrs

    M: Recommended for 15+

    18+: Restricted to those 18+

  • Do children need a ticket for performances at Spiegeltent Geelong?

    Unless otherwise specified, children 18 months and under can sit on the lap of a carer free of charge. Any child over this age must have a ticket. No children, including babes in arms are permitted to Restricted 18+ performances.

  • Is there a discount for children?

    Some productions may offer discounts for concessions, children and/or families. If Child prices are available, they will be listed as ‘child’ throughout the program. If Family prices are available, they will be listed as 'family'.

  • What types of tickets are sold by Spiegeltent Geelong?

    GA Adult | General Admission full price tickets

    GA Concession | General Admission government issued concession card, seniors, full time student cards*

    Premium | Selected premium seating area close to the stage with priority access to the venue. Premium tickets are available for performances of LIMBO only.

    Standing | Standing areas only, no seating is provided

    Child | Children 12 and under

    Family | 2 Adults and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children

    Companion Card | The Garden supports the Companion Card program. Companion Card tickets are available over the phone or in person*

    Proof of eligibility required and must be presented when collecting pre-purchased ticket or when otherwise requested

  • Am I eligible for concession?

    If concession prices are listed for a particular event, concession prices apply to persons who are aged 16 years and under, full-time students (including International Student cardholders), full pensioners, or welfare benefit recipients

  • Do tickets include GST?

    Where applicable, GST is included in the ticket price.

  • Can I change my tickets?

    Please check your booking carefully at the time of purchase, as all sales are final and refunds will not be provided unless required by law and in accordance with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.

    Consumer and Industry codes are accessible to the general public at www.liveperformance.com.au.

     

    You may be able to exchange your ticket to another performance of the same event, at our discretion and subject to a $5.00 fee.

  • Is the price listed on this website the price I'll actually pay for my tickets?

    All advertised prices include Booking Fees.

  • Can I choose my seat in advance?

    No. All venues and events are General Admission and tickets are non-allocated.

    Premium ticket-holders will be given priority entry to the venue and seating within the Premium section of the tent. 

    All guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30min prior to your advertised show time to line up for entry, 

  • Can I book a Booth in the Spiegeltent?

    Private Booths are available for purchase to performances of LIMBO only. 

    LIMBO booths are fixed price and seat up to 8 guests. The booth will be reserved under the name of the ticket purchaser.

  • What happens if I am running late for a performance? Will they let me in? Do I get a refund?

    Being late affects performers and the rest of the audience. This is so important that some artists specifically ask that latecomers not be admitted.

    The Spiegeltent therefore reserves the right to exclude latecomers to certain events or to admit them only during a suitable break in the performance. The Spiegeltent regrets it is not possible to refund a completed booking. Please respect the Front of House staff's instructions.

  • Is there any basic etiquette I need to be aware of?

    You are not allowed to use mobile phones, paging devices, alarm or chiming watches during performances.

    Using cameras or other recording devices is a breach of copyright and absolutely not allowed.

    Be nice and remember to consider those around you trying to also enjoy their night out.

    * Proof of eligibility required and must be presented when collecting pre-purchased ticket or when otherwise requested. If Print at Home tickets have been purchased, then Front of House staff will check relevant eligibility at the venue.

  • What do I do if I lose a child or parent?

    Please notify a member of staff or security immediately.

  • Where do I report lost articles?

    If you find something, please hand it in to any member of staff and we’ll do our best to return the item to its owner.

    Spiegeltent Geelong is not responsible for any lost or found property and will give any unclaimed items to charity or to the police at the conclusion of the season.

     

  • What do I do if I find something?

  • What should I bring into The Spiegeltent?

    » Proof of age or any concession cards you require

    » Tickets (if you’re seeing a show at The Spiegeltent)

    » Shoes (Bare feet are not ok. Wear shoes at all times!)

    » During the day... sun protection!

  • What can’t I bring into the Spiegeltent?

    » Alcohol (We are licensed - you cannot bring in or take alcohol from the area. Just like a pub or club. There is a bag search at the venue entrance, where any banned items will be confiscated and not returned.)

    » Liquids (Unfortunately some people want to smuggle in alcohol, which breaches our Liquor License. Only empty bottles can be brought in. But, water is freely available once inside.)

    » Pets and animals (except assistance dogs)

    » Bikes (only permitted outside premise – bike parking is provided!)

    » Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or skates

    » Professional cameras without prior permission (Happy snaps are welcome, but anyone with a professional camera must have prior permission from Spiegeltent Hobart. Please contact info@thespiegeltent.com.au)

    » Any other items considered illegal or dangerous

  • IS THERE A BAR OR FOOD AT SPIEGELTENT GEELONG?

    The Spiegeltent Geelong is licensed with two bars, one outside and inside the tent. The bar inside the tent will only be open for select shows. Drinks are allowed inside the Spiegeltent. We encourage patrons to drink responsibly. Any patrons who are found to be intoxicated will be asked to leave the Spiegeltent Geelong site.

    Patrons are able to bring their own food into the Spiegeltent Geelong site. No food is allowed inside the tent (excluding snacks purchased from the Spiegeltent Geelong bar)

     

  • CAN I USE MY CAMERA OR RECORDING DEVICE AT THE SPIEGELTENT?

    The use of cameras, videos or other recording devices is strictly prohibited inside Spiegeltent Hobart’s venue. Outside of venues - we love happy snaps! Post them, share them and generally snap away (#SpiegeltentGeelong, @thespiegeltent). 

    All professional photography and filming needs prior approval from Spiegeltent Hobart team with advance notice. Please contact info@thespiegeltent.com.au
